These Red Wing legends represent a 65 year evolution of materials and design. The Story begins in the 1920's when they were primarily used for outdoor recreation. At this time they were known as the "Outing" boots. In the 1950's these boots became known as the "Irish Setters" due to their distinctive Oro Russet colour. These boots became legendary among American workers and outdoor enthusiasts because of their quality, design and performance.
